The Aura Private Credit Income Fund (previously known as the Aura High Yield SME Fund) is celebrating its 7th anniversary today, 1 August 2024. We are delighted by the Fund’s performance since its inception.
Montgomery’s partnership with Aura Credit Holdings began in 2022, and Montgomery distributes two private credit funds – the Aura Private Credit Income Fund (for wholesale investors only) and the Aura Core Income Fund. Both funds have a history of producing monthly income, with no volatility of investors’ capital to date.
The Aura Private Credit Income Fund (the Fund) aims to provide attractive monthly income with target returns of 9-12 per cent per annum from a broadly diversified portfolio of loans to businesses in Australia.
The Fund invests in a select group of lenders across various industries, providing a layer of diversification regarding the loans’ characteristics in the portfolio and the borrower industry. By carefully analysing the merits of businesses requiring short term loans, deep due diligence can reduce risk while offering an income yield. Since its inception, there has been no loss of capital in the Fund.
